Eastern Edge was commissioned by LanyonSmith to identify areas where oil & gas legacy skills are directly transferable to offshore renewables. The report identified opportunities in offshore project management, survey and vessel utilisation. Eastern Edge is retained by LanyonSmith to provide political risk analysis (pre-due diligence) on projects identified by private equity clients.

The Crown Estate has taken a leading role in stimulating the interest of students in offshore windfarm developments. Eastern Edge was commissioned to help implement a skills engagement programme.

A port and maritime company based on the east coast commissioned Eastern Edge to advise them on how to position themselves more effectively so as to influence strategic decision makers and to attract energy supply chain activity.

Jiangsu Provincial Government

Eastern Edge joined a delegation of Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex businesses and local authorities promoting opportunities to Chinese businesses in Shanghai and Jiangsu Province. Subsequently, Eastern Edge has been involved in hosting visiting companies and the investment arm of the Jiangsu Provincial Government.
